I like Tuesdays...

I have to hand it to Pottery Barn, despite their ridiculous prices, I love their stuff. I was leafing through the Pottery Barn Teen Catalog(which I almost like more than the other stuff because it is a little more funky, once you get past the pink camo bedspread. Yes, a pink camo bedspread) and I came upon this:

(image from here.)

I love it so, so much. I just wish I had the wallspace for it.

And I want this room. Minus the pink side-table.

Now onto scrapbooking things...

I made this for the Young Scrapper's Challenge at 2 Peas, the challenge was to scrap about your favorites right now. I had a lot of fun with this page.

Daily Cards

Crappy picture for a crappy card. I glue-sticked the wrong side of the paper and attempted to save it and the was too lazy to wait for the glue to dry before I stamped it,, yeah, didn't work out too well. Products Used- Patterned Paper: Scenic Route. Heidi Swapp Remember Stamp. American Crafts Slick Writer. Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick.

Products Used: Patterned Paper- Scenic Route. American Crafts Slick Writer. KI Memories clear stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot.
I just love this idea. Way to cool, now I wish I had room to have, but maybe someday!
I'll post my daily cards and maybe a scrapbook page later today.

Daily Cards

Yeah, so I was lazy and didn't upload yesterday's picture, so you get a double dose of Daily Cardness. Woot, woot.

Products Used: Fabric scraps from my stash. Handcut white cardstock letters. I glue-sticked the fabric on to cardstock that I adhered to the card. I then edged the edges with clear nail polish. It seems to be holding up pretty well. Prodcuts Used: White Bazzill Cardstock. KI Memories clear stamps. Tim Holtz Distress ink in Worn Lipstick. So the ink really isn't that red, it's much more pink, the picture just showed up that way.

Daily Card July 19, 2007

Rubons and Krylon Glitter Spray do not mix so well. Especially bad quality rub-ons(CK OK brand, so yeah, I know I bought them on sale at JoAnn's, but dang these suck) and glitter spray that does not spray, but drips.... Since today's card sucked so much I had to make a new one.

Hopefully I'll be laughing at this is in a few days. Hopefully.

Here is my Dwight card. Yeah, Dwight is cool.

Note To Self: Buy date stamp.

Yeah, so my later kind of turned into today. Just though I'd post some of my favorite things.

Love, love, love this stuff. I like it because it doesn't have that fake fruity taste most lip glosses have. I buy mine at Bath and Body Works.
Since I love me some beauty products(hey, anyone, is there such thing as an under eye concealer that actually works?), I have to mention Revlon Red Nail Polish. This stuff rocks, I never paint my finger nails because it's too much work, but my feet always look naked without some polish on the toes. I usually alternate between black, silver, and red.
Now onto more exciting things. I love the Denyse Schmidt Book, it has some great projects(like Steve!) and some really yummy quilts.
I love Burda Style, it's such an awesome website. They offer tons of beautiful, high fashion, FREE patterns, what more can you ask for.

And here are some more things I'm loving at the moment:
Elsie Flannigan's Flickr

This Two Peas Gallery

This one too!

Phew, if you survived this much, you deserve some new lip gloss!

Since I'll be gone all next week I decided to post one huge post to make up for me being gone. Just some stuff I've been making and some random lovage(yes, lovage is a word).
Here is a little flannel blanket I made for myself. I love this hopscotch/jumproping pattern that I found in JoAnn's clearance area(2 bucks a yard!). Now I'm kicking myself because I didn't buy more.
This is a little pinafore I made from a simple tutorial from crafster. Here is the tutorial- ... Since I'm not all that great at sewing, it wasn't so simple because I like to make things harder than they really are.... Well, here is the first post for today and I'll update later as to my current favorite things

So I've actually scrapbooked a page I really like. Points for me.... Now, let's just see if I can actually scrapbook something again in the next month. Hmmmm....
