(or as like to call it. the list of pure awesomeness. ahem.)
1. learn to play the guitar
2. finish a painting
3. get something published
4. take at least ten photos of strangers. like these cool people
5. go on a roadtrip with friends
6. eat chinese food
7. send a random happy mail package each month to different people
8. take polaroid pictures
9. write and print my own zine
10. fall in love. with God or a new ice cream flavor or art or, heck, with someone
11. wander aimlessly somewhere
12. go to a first thursday downtown
13. make an arty music video
14. design a website
15. begin a rain book
16. do something daring
17. sit in a coffee shop, writing something brilliant on my own macbook
(i stole lots of ideas from elise and hula and lesley and all you wonderfully clever people. thank you.)
happy fourth. i think i'll go to a top of a hill with my silly friends and then home to watch my little brother blow himself up. i love this holiday.

Hey Mandy...I can offer some "suggention/direction" on a few of your "goals"...no. 7...mail random packages...check out Mary Ann Moss's blog...she's great w'making random journal pages, etc. to send off in great pkgs. to her friends: http://dispatchfromla.typepad.com/
and for no. 9...write/print your own ezine...complete one for sewing on your scrapbook/journal pages...you have a great eye and knack for it and you'd be great. fantastic list. I may have to create my own list for when i turn 17 in august.
